The Birth of Tarucas:
Identity, Pride, and Tradition
The Argentine Rugby Union has unveiled its new franchise to compete in the 2025 SUPER RUGBY AMERICAS.
For this historic challenge, they once again entrusted Grupo Berro to create an identity that would authentically and powerfully represent the team from Northwestern Argentina (NOA): Tarucas.
Inspired by the cultural and natural richness of the region, we developed an identity that merges tradition and dynamism, reflecting the spirit and passion for rugby that define the NOA.
The team will be based in the iconic city of Tucumán, a historic hub for the sport in the country, and will play its home matches at the prestigious facilities of Tucumán Lawn Tennis.
Tarucas is more than just a team; it is a symbol of regional unity, collective strength, and Argentine pride.
Inspirados en la riqueza cultural y natural de la región, desarrollamos una identidad que fusiona tradición y dinamismo, reflejando el espíritu y la pasión por el rugby que caracteriza al NOA.
