La Panerita: The Design Behind a Family Story
The Nagle family, originally from Tucumán, exemplifies entrepreneurship and perseverance. Inspired by their parents’ legacy, four siblings founded a bakery with a clear mission: to produce high-quality bread in a market dominated by international giants. Against all odds, their passion and dedication led to something extraordinary: customers fell in love with their products so much that supermarkets sought out La Panerita to include it on their shelves.
By late 2023, after this resounding success, the Nagles approached Grupo Berro with the challenge of redesigning their brand and packaging line to reflect their growth and new market position.
Gonzalo Berro, alongside Laura García and Esteban Serrano, traveled to Tucumán to immerse themselves in the essence of the company. The visit to the plant was inspiring: the unmistakable aroma of freshly baked bread, the professionalism of the teams, and the Nagle family’s spirit clearly conveyed the values behind the brand.
The design process began with a detailed analysis of the brand’s current state, an exhaustive study of competitors, and observations at the points of sale where La Panerita is present. The goal was clear: to preserve the brand’s DNA while achieving a visual refresh that stands out in a competitive market.
The result: a renewed branding that respects its artisanal essence, featuring modernized textures and a more prominent logo.
The new design positions La Panerita as a contemporary and competitive brand capable of conveying the quality that has always defined it. The packaging refresh not only makes their products easier to identify at points of sale but also communicates elegance and excellence, aligning with the brand’s value proposition.
Today, La Panerita not only offers exceptional-quality bread but also dresses it with a design worthy of its story and legacy.
