Redefining Excellence: The Redesign of Franuí
How do you reinvent a brand that is already a resounding success?
Franuí, the brilliant creation of Diego Fenoglio, founder of Rapanui, is a fruit and chocolate snack that not only delights but also amazes. Its unparalleled ability to provoke the famous ‘wow’ effect with every bite has led this innovative brand to conquer over 30 countries.
With a disruptive spirit and a constant passion for improvement, Franuí decided to take another step forward. For this, they entrusted the expertise of Grupo Berro for a new redesign.
Gonzalo Berro, our creative leader, immersed himself in the heart of Bariloche City to live and breathe the Franuí world. During two intense days, along with Leticia and Aldo Fenoglio, he explored every detail of the production process of these delicious snacks, absorbing the essence that makes Franuí a unique experience.
The design phase was a creative journey, exploring various conceptual paths for weeks to capture the brand's graphic evolution.
Finally, together with the client, we opted for a subtle adjustment to the logo, perfecting the typography details and giving the ‘i’ a more organic and personal accent, thus reflecting the warmth and authenticity of Franuí.
The packaging needed to be as irresistible as the product itself. We decided that the main image on the front of the pack would be a Franuí with melted chocolate, accompanied by a raspberry and another completely covered Franui, creating an immediate visual temptation. We kept the sides with images of several Franuis, ensuring the continuity of visual recognition. Few brands achieve recognition without showing the brand name, and we did not want to lose that virtue.
Today, the new Franuí packs not only have superior brand hierarchy but also elevate the desire to try them.
With this redesign, Franuí reaffirms its place in the hearts of consumers, ready to continue surprising and delighting taste buds around the world.
